A former standout inside receiver and returner at Northern State University, Coach Bauer has built a reputation as one of the premier offensive skills coaches in the country. With over 10 years of elite coaching experience, he’s trained and mentored hundreds of top athletes, including NFL talent:

Coach Canyon Bauer is redefining football in South Dakota. As the Co-Founder of Bauer’s Elite Training Academy, he brings championship experience, elite-level performance, and a visionary approach to player development.
A 3-year starting slot receiver at South Dakota State University, Coach Bauer played a key role in leading the Jacks to their first-ever FCS National Championship in 2022, as well as the MVFC title. Known for his toughness, precision, and football IQ, Bauer is a proven leader on and off the field.
Before SDSU, Coach Bauer set the South Dakota All-Time Receiving Record and was named 2018 South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year—solidifying himself as one of the most decorated high school receivers in state history.
As Wide Receivers Coach and Head Coach of Sharks 7v7, Coach Bauer trains and mentors the next wave of elite playmakers. His focus on explosiveness, route discipline, and game-day confidence has made him a go-to coach for wideouts across the Midwest.

Now in his third year with the Sharks, Coach Hunter Thompson leads the defense with a high-level football IQ and a proven, winning scheme. A former Strong Safety and Quarterback at Concordia University – St. Paul, Coach Thompson brings a dual-threat mindset to both sides of the ball.
With extensive experience coaching youth QBs and DBs across Minnesota, and years of running successful 7v7 leagues, Coach Thompson knows how to develop talent and build confident, game-ready athletes.
As Executive Advisor, he plays a critical role in shaping the Bauer’s Elite experience—supporting athlete development, streamlining operations, and helping the Academy grow with purpose.

Coach Sean Treasure brings elite playing experience and a passion for player development to Bauer’s Elite Training Academy. A standout running back at Minnesota State University, Treasure racked up 1,994 career rushing yards, placing him Top 10 in school history.
Now serving as Running Backs Coach and a Core Coach for the Sioux Falls Sharks 7v7, Coach Treasure is dedicated to building explosive, disciplined, and high-IQ backs. His experience, energy, and leadership fuel the next generation of athletes on and off the field.

Coach Lorenzo Brown – Quarterbacks Coach | Sharks 7v7 Co-Offensive Coordinator – Bauer’s Elite Training Academy
Coach Lorenzo Brown is the definition of a winner. A two-time National Champion, National Player of the Year, and former 29-0 starting quarterback at the University of Sioux Falls, Coach Brown brings championship pedigree and unmatched quarterback expertise to Bauer’s Elite Training Academy.
Before USF, he was a two-time All-American at North Iowa Area Community College, appearing in two bowl games. After college, Coach Brown carved out a legendary 12-year career in the Indoor Football League, where he:

Led the league in career rushing yards and touchdowns by a QB
Ranked Top 5 in career passing yards and touchdowns
